Arttimez, October 2024 : Disney Star clarified that there is no increase in the prices of Star Vijay and Star Sports 1 Tamil. This statement was issued in the background of rumours that the prices of these two channels have been increased. In an unfortunate turn of events, subscribers in Tamil Nadu lost access to Star channels including Star Vijay and Star Sports 1 Tamil. Regarding the issue, a Disney Star spokesperson said, “There has been no increase in the prices of Star Vijay and Star Sports 1 Tamil.
